On Sunday, Jan. 21, the AROD Family Foundation co-hosted Family Fun Day at the Miami Seaquarium with the Ronald McDonald House Charities of South Florida. The Seaquarium provided discount coupons to all who entered the park. Each charity received a portion of these discounted admissions.

Anyone entering the park could enjoy the Family Fun Day carnival in addition to the wonderful Seaquarium attractions. The carnival attractions included face painting, arts and crafts projects, a bounce house and slide, the Y-100 entertainment van and street team, carnival games and an appearance by Ronald McDonald. The event culminated in an appearance by Alex, who participated in a live program at 2:00 p.m. Alex spoke to the crowd, answered some questions from the DJs and handed out some raffle prizes (including an autographed bat and jersey, a year's supply of Happy Meals and a chance to swim with the Seaquarium's dolphins).

It was a great afternoon with a wonderful turnout and a lot of support for each charity. Thank you to everyone who attended, and congratulations to the raffle winners!!!
